JURY

CAROLE KREMER
After working as a conference interpreter and as Chargée de mission at the Ministry of State’s Media and Communications Service for a few years, Carole first joined Film Fund Luxembourg in 2014, for the part-time position of Creative Europe MEDIA Desk, which she has held ever since. In 2016, she started working full-time at the Fund, initially focusing mostly on XR and immersive media-related projects. Her current tasks include working with the promotion department to plan and implement international co-production visits and industry events, managing and implementing the Fund’s participation in the “CinEuro” Interreg project, handling the Fund’s support scheme for music videos, identifying relevant international training opportunities and promoting them to local professionals, and liaising with other ministries and international bodies like the EFAD on policy and partnership matters on behalf of the Fund. Occasionally, she attends international co-production markets, in particular for new audiovisual formats. Since 2022, she has been the substitute representative to Eurimages ad interim and manages the Fund’s participation in the “New Dawn” and “ESFUF” co-production initiatives. As Creative Europe MEDIA Desk, she promotes the opportunities of the MEDIA Programme to the local industry and advises them on their MEDIA funding applications. Carole is an EAVE graduate (2023).
ANDY BAUSCH
Andy Bausch was born in 1959 in Dudelange, Luxembourg. He is a director and screenwriter. His career has been a prolific one, with over 130 works with his name on them since 1979, including 16 short films and 12 feature films. He is best known for Visions of Europe, A Wopbobaloobop a Lopbamboom, Deepfrozen, D'Belle Epoque, A Legend of the Middle Ages, Back in Trouble and Doppelter Einsatz (TV series). He is the first Luxembourg-based director who made the leap into the international film business. His film Le Club des Chômeurs was a huge success in Luxembourg. He currently lives in Luxemburg-City and is the father of 4 kids.


EMILE SCHLESSER
Émile V. Schlesser is an award-winning writer, director and visual artist from Luxembourg. He graduated as master student at the historic Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany. His diverse body of work stretches from narrative films to installations and immersive shows. In 2020, his short film "Superhero" won the prestigious 13th Street Shocking Short Award, given by NBC Universal. In 2022, he co-founded the production company 35M Films. Émile is an alumni of the ZFF Academy at the Zurich Film Festival 2023. Émile is the host of the filmmaking podcast 35M Elevator Pitch,which he co-created with his producing partner Fabien Colas.
MANON DIEDRICH
Manon Diederich was born in 1987 in Luxembourg. Trained as a social and cultural anthropologist in Cologne (Germany), her research focused on gender and migration in the Global South. This and her current work as a transcultural and antidiscrimination trainer impact her artistic inquiries. Working with photography, film, text and collages, she is mainly interested in questions related to intersectional feminist and postcolonial approaches.
